Lipkin Warner

The Willits community has been their passion project for over 30 years. Lipkin Warner Design and Planning not only envisioned, designed, and built much of the town of Willits, they also created the highly successful condominium development, Park Modern. Today, the team is completing its vision for the community as architect, builder and developer of Lake Modern, the last remaining parcel in Willits and final phase of development within the town.

CIRCA 1980

Michael Lipkin and David Warner began working together in 1981 in New York, and established their Aspen-based practice in 1983 with a focus on designing single family residences, multi-family housing, commercial and community projects. Most recently, they completed The Arts Campus At Willits (TACAW), the net zero energy cultural centerpiece of Willits.

Michael Lipkin received his Master of Architecture degree from Yale University in 1980. David Warner received a Master of Architecture degree from Columbia University in 1981. They have collaborated for more than 40 years, sharing their love for architecture, design and art almost daily.
